CIA officer shot dead in Muridke

A shooting incident in Muridke has led to the death of CIA Sub-Inspector Maratib Ali, who was shot by Investigation Police from the Badami Bagh division in Lahore. The incident also resulted in a traffic accident that claimed two lives. According to police sources, Constables Jameed and Arslan, both assigned to Badami Bagh Lahore, were in Muridke searching for a suspect. During this operation, CIA Sub-Inspector Maratib Ali was traveling with his friend, Zakaullah. Initial investigations reveal that the Investigation Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but Sub-Inspector Ali, suspecting it to be a robbery attempt, fled the scene. As a result, Constables Jameed and Arslan opened fire on the vehicle, leading to the tragic accident. Upon realizing that the individual in the vehicle was a CIA officer, the two constables immediately fled the scene. Police authorities have stated that they are working to apprehend the absconding constables and their accomplice, Wasef, and expect their arrest soon.
