Pakistanis, Sikhs express solidarity with Kashmiris

Pakistani and Sikhs jointly organised an event to express solidarity with the people of the Indian-Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Wednesday. The event was organised by the International Kashmir Peace Forum France (IKPFF). In their speeches, the speakers emphasized that the purpose of February 5th is to express solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers in IIOJK and raise our voices against the atrocities being inflicted upon them. They reminded the people of Jammu and Kashmir that they are never forgotten, and that they will always stand with them. Addressing the gathering, Zahid Iqbal Hashmi, President, IKPFF, paid tribute to the brave people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and praised their over seven decades-long struggle for the right to self-determination. He stated that India's atrocities cannot stop the Kashmiris from demanding their fundamental rights in line with the United Nations Security Council resolutions. He assured that the Kashmir issue will continue to be raised on all international forums, including the United Nations and Human Rights Council, and the attention of global leaders will continue to be drawn towards the plight of the Kashmiri people. Hashmi expressed concern over India's atrocities and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the struggle for the right to self-determination. On this occasion, Sikh leader Man Singh also spoke, calling Narendra Modi the "butcher of Gujarat" and "a murderer of humanity." He stated that Modi's face has now been exposed worldwide, as he continues to commit oppression against minorities, both in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and in India. He reiterated his commitment to continue providing diplomatic, moral, and political support to the just struggle of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. At the conclusion of the event special prayers were offered for the elevation of the martyrs' ranks, the swift recovery of the injured, and for the freedom of Kashmiris.
