Ozzy Osbourne fans worry about his health ahead of final Black Sabbath reunion show

Ozzy Osbourne has announced what is being billed as Black Sabbath’s final concert, set to take place in Birmingham on July 5, 2025. While fans are excited about the legendary band’s first full reunion in 20 years, many have raised concerns over Ozzy’s health and whether he will be able to take the stage.         View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Ozzy Osbourne (@ozzyosbourne) At 76 years old, Ozzy has faced serious health challenges, including seven surgeries in the past five years and a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2003. His ongoing medical issues have already delayed his and wife Sharon Osbourne’s planned move back to the UK. With his limited mobility and reports of difficulty speaking, fans are questioning how he will handle a full performance. After the concert was announced, fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their concerns. Wonder if this will really happened! Ozzy’s health hasn’t been that great! I hope so, though! Sure sounds cool! ??? — Dan Garrity (@DanGarrity9) February 5, 2025 Considering Ozzy and Geezer’s health I fear this will end up being incredibly sad to go watch, I can’t see how Ozzy will be able to do a set at all. — Andy Thompson (@mexicola25) February 5, 2025 Not that long ago, Ozzy barely could give an acceptance speech on the Rock And Roll HOF, while being seated. Really hoping that his health and condition improved since then. But that being said, hardly feasible that Ozzy will be in singing condition — Héctor Cantú (@HeCoCaRo) February 5, 2025 The one-night-only concert will take place in the band’s hometown of Birmingham, featuring Ozzy alongside original members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. The event, called Back to the Beginning, will also feature performances by Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice in Chains, and other metal legends. Despite concerns, Ozzy remains optimistic, sharing in a statement: "It’s time for me to give back to the place where I was born. How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal." With fans both excited and worried, all eyes will be on Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s farewell performance this summer.
