Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” stirs up a social media frenzy with $10K contest

Another joked, "Dr. Miami has been praying for times like these," to which he replied, "Do good, and good shall come to you."   The track, born out of Metro Boomin's ongoing feud with Toronto rapper Drake, comes with a $10,000 prize and a free beat for the best song created using the diss. Initially offering only a free beat, Metro raised the stakes on Monday.    "Update to the contest! Winner gets $10k and a beat. Runner up gets a beat as well. #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway," he tweeted.    The contest has since exploded on social media platforms like X and TikTok.TikTokers are joining the fun, producing viral content using "BBL Drizzy."   Sister Mary Blaze, a popular Catholic nun known for her dance videos, gained over 5.9 million views with her contribution.    Comments on her post ranged from "Not the church taking on Drake" to "What a wild time to be alive."   TikToker @kayxs15 incorporated "Indian classic dance" into her "BBL Drizzy" video, acknowledging her lack of rapping skills while still wanting to participate: "I can't rap but I gotta get my Drake lashings in somehow." Her video amassed over 2 million views, with comments filled with jokes.   Brands are also hopping onto the trend. The Duolingo English Test posted a video of their mascot twerking to the track, garnering over 3.7 million views. Viewers couldn't get enough, with one noting, "Duolingo has picked a side."
