Andy Cohen cleared of harassment and drug allegations made by ex-'Real Housewives' stars

Andy Cohen has emerged victorious after a storm of allegations.  Bravo announced on Thursday, May 9th, that an external investigation found no substance to the claims of sexual harassment and drug-related misconduct leveled against the 55-year-old talk show host and 'Real Housewives' executive producer. "The recently concluded investigation into allegations made by Brandi Glanville and Leah McSweeney against Andy Cohen found them to be unsubstantiated," a Bravo spokesperson confirmed to Deadline. The controversy began in February when former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Brandi Glanville sent a letter accusing Cohen of sending her an inappropriate video and making suggestive comments. Cohen apologised for the video, calling it a "joke," but an investigation was launched. Later that month, former 'Real Housewives of New York City' cast member Leah McSweeney filed a lawsuit alleging that Cohen fostered a workplace culture of drug and alcohol abuse.  She also claimed he rewarded certain 'Housewives' with whom he used c***** with favourable treatment. Cohen's representative vehemently denied these allegations. Several 'Housewives', including Lisa Vanderpump, defended Cohen. Vanderpump asserted based on her own experiences that Cohen would not engage in the behaviour McSweeney described. The news of Cohen's exoneration comes as Bravo announced the renewal of 'Watch What Happens Live!' and several other popular series.
