Exciting bull racing competitions were held on Sunday at Tor Dher Bazaar in Nowshera district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. More than a hundred pedigree bulls from across the country participated in the event. The competing bulls were adorned with garlands and flowers, creating a vibrant and decorative spectacle. Special Assistant to the K-P Chief Minister, Abdul Karim Khan, was the chief guest at the event. The owners of the winning bulls were awarded prizes, including lockets, washing machines, and garlands. Abdul Karim Khan praised the efforts of the organizing committee for successfully hosting the competition. He emphasized that such events help preserve Pakhtun culture and serve as a positive engagement for youth, steering them away from negative influences, including drug abuse. He encouraged the continued organization of such cultural events in the future. The advisor further stated that raising awareness among youth about Pakhtun traditions is a collective responsibility. He added that events like these not only offer entertainment but also provide opportunities for social interaction, fostering peace and brotherhood.
