Odell Beckham Jr. named in lawsuit alleging assault in ongoing legal case involving Diddy

 



NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed in the Northern District of California, alongside music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, comedian Druski (Drew Desbordes), and singer Jaguar Wright. The plaintiff, Ashley Parham, alleges that in March 2018, she was drugged, kidnapped, and sexually assaulted by the defendants. Parham claims that after suggesting Combs' involvement in the death of rapper Tupac Shakur, she was threatened and subsequently assaulted. The lawsuit details that during a gathering in Orinda, California, Parham was forcibly raped using a TV remote control. S he reported the incident to authorities and underwent a rape kit examination. Parham is seeking $50 million in damages and a jury trial.  Combs is currently facing multiple legal challenges, including federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, with a trial date set for May 5, 2025.  Beckham, a former Super Bowl champion and three-time Pro Bowler, last played in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins during the 2024 season. He appeared in nine games, recording nine receptions for 55 yards, marking a significant decline from his earlier career performance. Drafted 12th overall by the New York Giants in 2014, Beckham made an immediate impact, winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and surpassing 1,000 receiving yards in five of his first six seasons.​ As of now, Beckham's legal team has not publicly responded to the allegations. The case adds complexity to his professional career as he navigates these serious accusations.​
