Traffic police have banned the entry of rickshaws, taxis, online ride-hailing services, and commercial vehicles into major markets starting from Ramazan 15 to avoid traffic congestion during Eid shopping. Additionally, traffic police personnel will be deployed around busy shopping centers, markets, and commercial areas to assist the people. In an official statement, the Traffic Police spokesperson urged citizens to follow the issued guidelines to ensure smooth travel and avoid unnecessary delays. Clifton Teen Talwar area Due to heavy shopping crowds, traffic from Clifton Bridge to Teen Talwar will be redirected, and drivers are advised to use Race Course and Chaudhry Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road. Traffic from the underpass can also access Clifton Bridge via Bath Island, but rickshaws, taxis, online taxis, and commercial vehicles will not be allowed. Tariq Road Entry of rickshaws, taxis, online taxis, and commercial vehicles will be restricted up to Ittehad Signal. Drivers of such vehicles are advised to use alternate routes via Allah Wali, Noorani Kabab House, and Medicare on Shaheed-e-Millat Road. Millennium Mall, Hyderi Traffic coming from Millennium Mall to Drigh Road can access Nipa via Millennium Flyover, but no rickshaws, taxis, or online taxis will be allowed under the flyover. For Hyderi Market, in case of heavy rush, commercial traffic from North Karachi will be diverted from Five Star Chowrangi - taking a right turn towards Shipowner Chowrangi and Sharah-e-Noor Jahan, or a left turn towards Landi Kotal Chowrangi. Traffic from Board Office can proceed right from KDA Chowrangi to Ziauddin Chowrangi, or left via Pahari Ganj and Sharah-e-Noor Jahan to North Karachi. Rickshaws, taxis, and online taxis will not be allowed on these routes. Saddar Area From Fawara Chowk to GPO and from Singer Chowk to Zaib-un-Nisa Street, entry of rickshaws, taxis, and online taxis will be prohibited.
