President of the Anjuman-e-Tajiran Sindh Karachi Division Javed Shams has spoken out against customs officials, accusing them of having an inappropriate attitude towards traders in Sindh, especially in Hyderabad. He emphasised that instead of intimidating traders, customs officials should focus on sealing Sindh's borders. Divisional President Anjuman-e-Tajiran Sindh, Salahuddin Ghauri, along with General Secretary Amjad Arain, Azhar Sheikh, Taqi Sheikh, and Mahboob Abro, held a press conference at the Hyderabad Press Club on Sunday. They said that customs officials recently raided shops in Chandni Mobile Market in night, targeting and harassing the traders who run the country's economy. They alleged that customs officials forcibly shut down businesses and confiscated mobile phones worth millions of rupees from the shops. They condemned the behaviour of customs officials towards the traders.
