Internal differences still haunt the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) despite the reports of reconciliation among the party leadership. The pressure on the law officer to resign due to the alleged differences between Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Atif Khan is just the latest example of this cold war going on between the two PTI stalwarts. The president of the Insaf Lawyers Forum has sought the resignation of Additional Advocate General Noroz Khan for giving a statement in court regarding possible reconciliation in the anti-corruption case against Atif Khan and threatened to de-notify him if he did not resign voluntarily. This statement reportedly provided relief to Atif Khan, angering his arch-rival Ali Amin Gandapur. The Additional Advocate General sought help from Atif Khan in this regard and told him that he was being removed due to this enmity. Atif Khan has been requested to call the Advocate General and resolve the issue. The ongoing differences between PTI leader Atif Khan and Chief Minister Gandapur have come to the fore once again and, this time, the law officer is the latest victim of the enmity. An audio message of Additional Advocate General Noroz Khan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President of Insaf Lawyers Forum Qazi Anwar Advocate has gone viral on social media. Qazi Anwar could be heard telling the law officer in the audio message that the Chief Minister had ordered his removal for presenting weak arguments in the Atif Khan case. "You gave inappropriate arguments, which also appeared in the order sheet. It is written in the order sheet that the parties are reaching a compromise. Who had told you to make such a statement in court which ended up in the order sheet," Qazi said in the message, adding that the law office did not even file a petition against it. "Who had instructed you to make such a statement in court," he asked. "The Chief Minister said on the same day that you should be removed. I told him that the Advocate General would himself resign because removing him would affect his reputation," said Qazi Anwar in the audio message. "I do whatever is ordered by the Chief Minister. You were appointed on my personal recommendation. Now the Chief Minister has directed me to take your resignation", said Anwar. After the audio message of talks between Noroz Khan and Qazi Anwar made the rounds on social media, another audio message between Noroz and Atif Khan has also been 'leaked' to the public. Noroz Khan can be heard telling Atif Khan that he did not object to his case which favoured Atif but that Qazi Anwar and the Advocate General were now asking him to resign.
