The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on Friday, April 4, to mark the 46th death anniversary of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder and former prime minister, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. According to a notification issued by Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah, all provincial government offices will remain closed on the day. The holiday will also apply to autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the provincial government. To commemorate Bhutto’s death anniversary, the PPP will hold a condolence gathering in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on April 4, which is expected to draw party workers and supporters from across the country.
