Allegedly drunk DSP assaults in-laws

A drunk DSP physically assaulted his in-laws and threatened to kill them in Shahdadpur's Surahiya locality. The incident has sparked widespread protest in the area. According to details, DSP Younus Subahpoto, who is in charge of traffic police in Sukkur, reached the house of his in-laws in a drunken state and assaulted them. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, causing outrage among locals. The affected family and area people staged a protest outside the police station, demanding action against DSP Younus. They accused him of being an alcoholic who frequently harasses his in-laws and locals specially while drunk. The family claimed that DSP Younus attacked and injured them and threatened to kill them. They also accused him of attempting to run over their son, Fahad, with his car and later threatened to shoot him. The protesters alleged that despite multiple complaints, the police have failed to take action against the DSP. They demanded that a case be registered against him, and he should be arrested immediately.
