PML-N supremo Nawaz kicks off party's election campaign in AJK

The PML-N on Tuesday formally kicked off its election campaign in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), with party supremo Nawaz Sharif addressing supporters in the regional capital.

He began his address by noting that he was among the people of Muzaffarabad after several years and expressed his affection for the people of Kashmir.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was accompanying him.

On June 20, the PML-N announced its candidates for 37 of the 45 constituencies of the AJK Legislative Assembly.
